Do you think it's possible that Minnesota phoned Pittsburgh for Bjugstad? I would have thought that Pittsburgh would need to give draft compensation to take on a 2 million cap hit.
Possible. I would presume that Guerin, the former AGM in Pittsburgh, and Rutherford have an open line of communication. No matter who initiated the talks, the Wild should have received compensation for taking a contract that Pittsburgh clearly couldn't keep.
