Digging Deep

Florida Panthers LW Mason Marchment, acquired in a trade from Toronto for Denis Malgin, has an assist and three hits in each of the past three games for the Panthers. He’s still playing in a depth role but is worth putting on your radar to see if he can keep it up, especially if he can consistently deliver three hits per game. He’s 25, so if the Panthers have room for him – and they have just waived Brett Connolly – this is Marchment’s opportunity to make it work in the NHL. (0% Yahoo)
