The freelance life does not always offer ideal control over my schedule and getting pulled in different directions in recent weeks has contributed to the late arrival of this season’s full fantasy hockey projections.
(You can find my Top 400+ Projected Scorers and Goalie Rankings on that sheet, too.)
It is great to be in demand, and there will be some exciting things coming soon, so I can hardly wait to get this NHL season started.
I have a bunch of preseason articles, for subscribers, at both McKeen’s Hockey and The Athletic, plus I have been going team-by-team for the Locked On Fantasy Hockey podcast.
There may be some recent injuries (Alex Ovechkin and Matthew Boldy, among others) that are not fully taken into account though, given such uncertainty over when they might play this season, I have included projections for Jack Eichel and Evander Kane, but have not ranked them because those unknowns feel different than a player who might make it back a week or two earlier or later from a forecasted injury timeline.
Again, here is the link to the rankings.
