This year’s edition of my NHL projections is ready.
With goal production ticking up in recent seasons, there are more players surpassing the 100-point plateau, with nine crossing that threshold last season. There were four 50-goal scorers, led by Toronto's Auston Matthews, who finished with 69 goals, the most a player has recorded since the 1992-1993 season.
As more goals are scored, goaltending becomes an even more challenging position for projections because save percentages are dropping and even goaltenders with excellent reputations are not putting up the numbers that they did even a few years ago.
The projections are in a Google Sheet here and you can make a copy and manipulate the numbers however you like, applying weights that are suited to your own league settings.
I contributed to the McKeen’s Hockey Yearbook again and will be writing 20 Fantasy Points on a weekly basis for McKeen’s again this season.
Pinnacle is the home to my full-time writing, with plenty of hockey coverage in addition to NFL, NBA, MLB, NCAAFB and more. I still post articles on Twitter, but tend to spend more time on Threads and Bluesky.

Keep your stick on the ice and enjoy!
